One of the things I am thinking about during this rainy day, is the importance of giving ourselves the time for self-reflection and self-inquiry as a spiritual practice. This is how we show up for ourselves and connect with our soul and higher guidance.

New Message on the Blog

This week, the Council of Light, brought through a message about Receiving. You can check it out here. Many of us have trouble receiving -whether it is a gift, help, a compliment, or financially, etc. But as we soon discover, an imbalance of giving and receiving is unsustainable and unhealthy.

So what is causing this inability to receive? According to the Council, it is an imbalance in the male and female energy that exists within all of us.

In the course of history, the mystical union of the feminine and masculine has been forgotten. The male energy has been playing that of the perpetrator -oppressing the female energy. Where the feminine energy gets victimized more and more and gets lost in self-denial, the masculine energy loses itself in ruthless violence and aggression.

The masculine and feminine depend on one another. The female energy is regaining its strength and is rising above the role of the victim. This resurrection comes from deep within the feminine energy. She has finally reached the outer limit of her self-denial. Revolution starts when the victim refuses to accept any more and finally takes back her power.

Actually, what is the most urgent matter in this time and age is the transformation of the male energy (within us all)! It is now time for a new definition of male energy. It is only when the reunion with a matured and balanced male energy that the female energy can flourish again. The old male energy has served its time and its dying hour is at hand.

We are encouraged to stay conscious! Don’t let yourself be taken off center by emotions of powerlessness. If you do not react with anger or hatred, you will not draw it to you. You will be safe and protected by your own light. Everything happening collectively mirrors processes at the individual level.

This is where self-inquiry and self-reflection comes in. Where are we still holding wounded male and wounded female energy within us? Until we become conscious of it, we are unable to release it. We could use some new role models of what healthy male and female energy looks like.
